Curriculum Vitae
I joined the Sachse lab in March 2020 as a PhD student, where I am currently working on the structural biology of autophagy complexes.
I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Molecular and Applied Biotechnology at the RWTH Aachen University, Germany. During my bachelor and master studies, I worked on different projects with focus on expression and purification of various target proteins to prepare high quality samples for crystallization screening and subsequent structure determination. As part of my Master thesis, I did research on the biochemical characterization of LOV domains coupled to novel effector domains under the supervision of Renu Batra-Safferling and Joachim Granzin at the Institute of Biological Information Processing (IBI-7) at the Forschungszentrum Jülich.
