Curriculum Vitae

I joined the group as a PhD student in March 2020.

With a biochemistry degree from the University of Glasgow (Scotland) and a Master’s in biochemistry and biophysics from the University of Freiburg (Germany), I have nurtured my interest in structural biology. During my bachelor’s and master’s thesis, in the group of Prof. Dr. Richard Codgell (FRS) and Prof. Dr. Carola Hunte, respectively, I was given the chance to broaden my understanding of x-ray crystallography and cryoEM. While in Prof. Cogdell’s lab, we studied the light-harvesting complex 2 of Rps. palustris, I studied complex III of the yeast respiratory chain in the Hunte group.
