Curriculum Vitae
I joined the ER-C-3 as a postdoc in January 2018 and I am working on TMV.
I studied Chemistry with an emphasis on Biochemistry in Bielefeld and Cologne University. During my PhD in the group of Jörg Enderlein (now University of Göttingen, Germany), I investigated the CA2+-myristoyl-switch of Recoverin and its interaction with membranes using fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and single molecule imaging. After finishing my PhD, I joined the lab of Hartmut Michel (Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysics, Frankfurt am Main) to study the intermediates in the catalytic cycle of Cytochrome c Oxidase using UV-vis- and IR-spectroscopy as well as electron-spin-resonance spectroscopy.
In 2013, I joined the ICS-5 of Forschungszentrum Jülich to work on sample preparation for single molecule spectroscopy.
