I am a PhD student and joined the Sachse group in January 2021.
In 2017, I obtained my bachelor’s degree at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn in Biology. My Master’s degree in applied Bioinformatics was completed in November 2020. For my master thesis, I worked in the molecular ecology group at the Senckenberg Biodiversity and Climate Research Center in Frankfurt. I developed a new data format for genomic data and added tools to support this new format.
During and after my master’s studies, I also worked in the Computational Systems Genetics Group at the Johannes-Gutenberg-University Mainz where I focused on developing analytical tools for mouse behaviour data for colleagues.
